Fires circling Sydney at the moment have closed a lot of the main roads in the directions I usually take so I had to kept closer to home.
When I saw the wetland at Mitchell Park was dry, it was a bit of a shock, as this was the first time I had seen it this way. Conditions in the bush weren't much better and there wasn't much to choose from.
